Soviet Union (1931) Fast tank - 650 built. Based on American Engineer Walter J. Christie tank.
The BT tanks were "convertible tanks". In about thirty minutes, the crew could remove the tracks and engage a chain drive to the rearmost road wheel on each side, allowing the tank to travel at very high speeds on roads. In wheeled mode, the tank was steered by pivoting the front road wheels.
It was the fastest tank on earth. BT-2 road speed of 100 km/h (62 mph), with an off-road speed of 60-70 km/h (37-43.5 mph) depending of the terrain.
BT-2 fought against the Japanese in the Battle of Khalkhin Goal in 1939. With the Finns in 1940. And with the Germans in the first period of WW2.

Model:
It is old UM model. I built it long time ago. This is another model from my old box.
Now I completely repainted it. And did some weathering effects. I added only new headlights and a chain.
