ASLAV-25 progress (WIP)

Наметился прогресс в сборке очередного долгостроя - Канадской бронемашины ASLAV-25. 

Some progress with Canadian ASLAV-25 (Trumpeter + Modeltrans-Modelbau).

Я начал собирать эту модель много лет назад. За это время спаял новые защитные скобы для фар, левую заднюю сетку для возимого имущества. Заменил поручни, просверлил отверстия в ушках для такелажных скоб, заменил сцепное устройство. Изготовил ограждение для водомётов. Затем меня покинуло вдохновение. И я оставил эту модель незавершенной. Затем я вернулся и добавил несколько фоторавленых скоб из набора фирмы ET  для Academy Striker по бокам корпуса.

В январе этого года я решил продолжить работу над моделью.

Переделал глушитель, заменил патрубок выхлопной трубы, добавил сверху зашиту глушителя. Сзади справа сделал антенну и ее держатель. Сделал из пластика крепление запаски и добавил еще несколько мелких деталей сзади. За башней добавил еще один вентиляционный колпак. Начал переделывать люк водителя. Также заменил все осветительное оборудование и сделал их держатели (на фото их пока нет - после покраски установлю). Работа продолжается. Скоро закончу корпус и пойду к башне.

I started to assembling this model many years ago. During this time, I soldered new protective brackets for the headlights, the left rear mesh for the transported property. Replaced the handrails, drilled holes in the eyelets for the shackles, replaced the hitch. Made a fence for water cannons. Then the inspiration left me. And I left this model unfinished. Then I went back and added some photo-etched brackets from the ET kit for the Academy Striker to the sides of the case.

In January of this year, I decided to continue working on the model.

Redesigned the muffler, replaced the exhaust pipe, added muffler protection on top. I made an antenna and its holder at the back on the right. I made a spare wheel mount out of plastic and added a few more small parts at the back. I added another ventilation hood behind the tower. Began to remodel the driver's hatch. I also replaced all the lighting equipment and made their holders (they are not in the photo yet - I will install them after painting). Work continues. I will soon finish the hull and go to the turret.
