In the process of developing the famous heavy Russian tank IS-7, several preliminary versions were developed. And only object 260 (Is-7 1946) was made in metal and went to tests. Two prototypes were built. They have been tested about 2 years. From the final version of the IS-7 object 260 was distinguished by a turret of another form and the presence of a revolving machine gun turret behind the tower, a different over-engine grating, and a number of other parts.
